Alberta Creek Stripper Guides

At any given time, there are a dozen or more full-time professional striper guides working out of Alberta Creek Resort & Marina. Repeat business is a testimony to their expertise, honestly, and concern for the comfort and pleasure of their customers. Many groups make several trips per year to Alberta Creek and use the same guide or guides. Some guides have a clientele that have been making annual treks to Alberta Creek for many years.

The guide fee is cheap compared to owning a boat big enough to navigate the vast expanse of open and often rough water of Lake Texoma. Those who decide to forego the guide and go it alone are often sorely disappointed. It's just not as easy as the guides make it look.

I've become acquainted with most of the guides who work out of ACR. They are a fun loving bunch and show their customers a good time. It is a pleasure to witness a child, an elderly person, or a severely handicapped person beaming with joy after catching a limit of hard-fighting striped bass. An enjoyable day on the water can brighten up the life of most anyone.

Chris Caldwell is a good friend so I'll single him out. He has been guiding on Lake Texoma for about 30 years and I guess I have known him for the entire time. He has been a solid citizen heavily involved in the betterment of the community, schools, lake-related concerns and more importantly, raising a family. His wife, Gail, is always the same: friendly and pleasant. She has a warm glow about her countenance that is rare. I'm thinking that Chris is a lucky man. His sons, Larry and Bobby, excelled in school and related activities. Both are now married, with families and both work for the railroads.

Chris also offers Trophy Striper guided trips on Beaver Lake where he landed a 42 pound fish in 2005. Interested in Redfish on the Texas coast? Chris does that too. You can contact him at (580) 564-9154.

I'm not recommending Chris over all the others, it's just that I know him and his family. I'm sure you can have an enjoyable fishing trip with anyone of these guides. You can go online by just using the name Alberta Creek and pull up their website. Just click on "Fishing Guides" and get all the information you need to book a fishing trip.
